Support your small businesses!

I’m often seeing people posting about helping small/local communities and businesses.

Choosing small local restaurants rather choosing McDonald’s or kfc, buying groceries in small local shops rather then big supermarkets, etc., etc.,

Well guess what! It’s the same for us.

Small yoga businesses need your support too. Just because our advertisements don’t look so bright and shiny like a big yoga studio, that doesn’t mean we are not good teachers!

I had the chance to train with amazing teachers, @amit, @derya, @ayten, @josh, @gen, @laura, @meg, @pragatti, just to name a few, and I believe we all have the same thing in common. We’re not being backed up by some huge marketing company who’ll make everything shine on our pages.

I know you believe yoga should also be taught for free. I wish I could, but I’m afraid we are no longer living in a world where pigs are flying. I am fasting quite a lot myself, but I still eat sometimes. I still have bills to pay, just like all the rest of us.

Teaching yoga is my job, I got certified for this. I was trained in best schools, and those schools were not just outside my house. I had to travel far away and spend a lot of time away from home. These were trainings that I had to pay for. I learned from the best teachers so I could pass it on to you.

If my posts (from social media) don’t give you the feeling of the hard work I’ve put in, and you do not see the nights I had without sleep because I had to study for the exams., its because I never wanted you to see that, I know you have enough on your plate, but I want you to see the other side of me. The side of me that is ready to take away your stress, relief you from muscular pain, help you to stretch, give you advice, bring a smile on your face, give you piece of mind, and help you to relax. THIS IS MY JOB!

If you’re been reading all this, thank you so much. If this message sounds like a desperate message, well it’s not. I just really have the urge to teach, I miss helping people. I miss seeing my students in person and them telling me how much my class has helped them. In all of this, I am truly blessed and I thank God for giving me an opportunity to help people.

Stay happy and healthy.
